Amazon Plane Crash Survival: Can You Last Until Rescue?
▶ PLAY FREE NOWNo download · Phone or PC · 3–4 minutes per runAmazon Crash: 42 Hours to Rescue is a free choice-based jungle survival game you play right in your browser. It's August, and Seongsu Team 3, fresh from the tidal flat, Seoraksan, life raft and desert island disasters, has been sent on a "consolation trip" by the company. In the Peruvian Amazon (a fictional region), travel broker CEO Tak says "the locals are all my friends" and sells a 30-minute small-plane sightseeing flight on the side. At 3:30 p.m., the engine starts to sputter and a burning smell drifts up.

How the jungle survival plays
Every right answer comes from aviation safety guidance (ICAO and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration), the U.S. Army survival manual (FM 21-76), the U.S. CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Korean foreign ministry's overseas travel safety guidance. Every wrong answer is a mistake real people make. A run takes 3–4 minutes.
- Engine trouble: Cinch the belt low across your hips, or photograph the smoke outside the window? CEO Tak says, "It's nothing, selfie time!"
- 20 seconds to forced landing: Brace position within 1.7 seconds. Flying objects, Jiwoo lifting her head, Team Lead Park trying to unbuckle.
- The golden minutes: In the smell of fuel, what comes first? Drag the pilot out and get 30 m away from the aircraft. Meanwhile CEO Tak vanishes with the satellite phone and the first-aid kit.
- Holding out for 42 hours: Boiling water, mosquitoes, downpours, and surprise events every night: a jaguar's eyes in the dark, a splash by the river, a snake at face height, a howler monkey's roar, a rotten branch snapping off.
- The rescue moment: When a helicopter comes, which way do you approach? If rescue doesn't come, when and where do you move?
The radio and the villain, CEO Tak
The Survival series uses a radio instead of a phone. In this episode it's the pilot's handheld aviation radio: the 121.5MHz aviation emergency frequency, the departure airfield, and handheld radio channel 7. You have to tune in and catch a signal before the audio comes through clearly, and leaving it on drains the battery. On channel 7, CEO Tak's voice comes through asking to be "picked up first, just me." If you record it, you can expose him in front of everyone later.
Story, random events and perks
The story is the scenario above (the ELT switch gets knocked off in the impact, a downpour on the first night). With random events, the moment the fuel ignites, whether the ELT turned itself on, whether the downpour comes, and how long rescue takes all change every run. Your character's name and perk change each run, and your perk unlocks exclusive choices.

Four coworkers and a local pilot
Aboard with you are the timid old-school Team Lead Park ("I was top of my class at map reading in the army"), the headphone-wearing new hire Jiwoo, Manager Do with the emergency medicine pouch, and the cheerful intern Seojun. The injured local pilot is calm and capable. Get him out and splint his leg, and he'll tell you the last known position.
12 hidden missions
Each run secretly picks 3 missions. They aren't shown on screen; you get a one-line notice the moment you complete one, and they're revealed on the result screen. Examples include Escape before it ignites, Save the pilot, Signal your position, Expose CEO Tak, No raw water, Don't touch wildlife and Hold Team Lead Park back.

Toward the tail rotorTen steps to the rescue helicopter. Those ten steps were wrong.10 survival tips for the game (and real life)
- Belt low across the hips, tight. While the aircraft is shaking, don't undo it no matter what anyone says.
- Hold the brace position until the landing is over. Don't lift your head to grab things or people.
- If you smell fuel, leave your bags and get 30 m away. Pull out injured people who can't move.
- Once the danger is gone, return to the aircraft. It's easy to see from the air and it has the ELT and radio.
- Check that the ELT is on. Satellites receive 406MHz ELT signals.
- Radio from high ground, and keep it short: position, headcount, injuries.
- Boil water for at least 1 minute. Don't drink even clear-looking river water as is.
- Sleep off the ground, and avoid spots under dead branches.
- Don't touch wildlife, and don't turn your back and run. Stay away from the water at night.
- Signal from an open clearing with sky above, in threes, and big. For a helicopter, wait for the crew's signal and approach from the front.
Send a rescue request to a friend
When a run ends, enter your name and share the result. Your friend gets a picture-card link, sees the choices you made, and can take on the challenge. This game is the fifth episode of the Survival series, where you hold out until rescue. And the company group chat has already posted the announcement for the next reward…
FAQ
Is the jungle survival game free?
Yes. It's a completely free browser game with no payments and no install. It works on phones, tablets and PCs.
Is it a real incident or a real travel agency?
No. The region, travel agency, airline and characters are all fictional. The correct answers, however, follow real aviation safety guidance, survival manuals, and CDC, WHO and foreign ministry guidance.
How long does a run take?
Usually 3–4 minutes. The two days in the jungle pass automatically in compressed time and stop only when an event happens.
Are there jump scares?
Yes. At night, 2 to 4 surprise events occur, such as a jaguar, a caiman, a snake, a howler monkey or a falling branch. You can switch to "Milder scares" on the start screen.
Can I expose CEO Tak?
Yes. You can record the radio call you hear on handheld channel 7, correct the facts with the rescue center, or confront CEO Tak with the evidence when he reappears. The result screen shows CEO Tak's fate.
Shouldn't I just follow the river downstream?
If rescue is on the way, staying beside the aircraft is the right answer. Only when it's clear that rescue isn't coming, move downstream, staying away from the water's edge.
How many survive if I just go with my gut?
In bot tests, about 89% of gut-feel choosers die. If you choose by the guidelines, everyone survives.
Are there other episodes?
There's the Survival series (West Sea tidal flat, winter Seoraksan, life raft drift, desert island 72 hours) and the Disaster series (Nuclear Blast, Busan Earthquake, Incheon Airport, Ulsan Nuclear Plant, Shizuoka Tsunami).
